Mr Right I think you are right. If it was feasible money wise and a deal was on the cards then the Suns should grab him. They need that marquee player to help with their profile.
Getting Franklin on board to promote the club off field would be another bonus and something the AFL may support.
With the kids available to them in the next draft it’s looking good for Hardwick.
Just more tv exposure …until we get sick of them 😁

Not sure Tom that North would need an over-the-hill on baller in Sloane.
I feel they have two priorities. A chb and a chf. But where that comes from is their dilemma.

Red, I don’t know the ratings for the World Cup of Netball but I imagine that if it had been played in Australia , and not S Africa, the ratings would have been great.
To be fair Netball is played on a small area so some stadium here would have to have been adjusted to accommodate the crowds particularly in Victoria.
But it’s all good. All sports generally entertain us and we are lucky to have them and lucky that most teams are good at them
Should the Matildas win it would cap off the Men and women ashes and the Netball

Your Holiness, I agree with most of your comment except that I think you will find that Ellyse , who although she chose cricket, was told she could not have a cricket contract if she continued with soccer
I think it applies to all contracted cricketers..no contact sport

You may have a point Doc but generally I’ve always liked a batsman as skipper and one who can field at first or second slip so that they are always in touch with the keeper.
Being together they can see and discuss the pitch vagaries during the game and other small factors to determine field placements and the bowling rotations
Just my thoughts

Marsh worth a try not only as T20 captain but ODI skipper after World Cup as West looks best option for future

My sentiments also Tagger re batsmen.. Not to forget Brooke.
But in India it will be very interesting to see how they cope against a host of spinners

Yes, their batting is in good shape. They do have their vice captain Ollie Pope to come back as well
I think Leach could go around again but their quicks may turn out to be novices .
Tongue maybe an ok but has a learning curve yet.
Hopefully they bring Robinson. Most Australians in the crowd would offering sound advice to him 😁
